TOOTH

In Tooth, I first took pictures of how I feel a tooth might think if it were pulled out of a mouth. Then took a picture of me pulling out “my tooth,” which got the shadows I wanted. I put a piece of paper between the pliers I was using in the image above. Then, when editing, I cut out my tooth from my mouth, masked it with pliers, and blended it into the paper to keep the pliers' shadows. Then I masked my face in the tooth. I realized I didn’t think about how teeth have roots, so I drew it in with the paintbrush in Photoshop. Lastly, I used Camera Raw to edit the colors.
